J2 and its subsidiary Gestion Conseil Robert Lamarre & Associés (GCRL), continues its expansion with the awarding of the largest contract in history! The procurement consulting firm has just signed a 5-year outsourcing agreement with GE Aviation.  Located in Bromont, this new customer specializes in the manufacture of jet and turboprop engines used all over the world.

This is a very stimulating challenge for J2, tasked with providing the best level of service and aligning its processes to coincide with GE Aviation. This partnership will see J2 helping the company increase the efficiency of its supply chain.

A rigorous selection process

GE Aviation went through a rigorous selection process to select the best partner for its supply chain.

“It was J2’s reputation and credibility in the aerospace sector, combined with the experience of GCRL in purchasing outsourcing that tipped the scales,” states Réal Julien, President of J2.

A partnership helps combat labour shortages

The partnership agreement signed with GE Aviation increases J2’s and its subsidiary GCRL’s workforce by approximately 35%! The pool of purchasers thus increases from 35 people to about 50.
