J2 is proud to announce the renewal for 2016 of its agreement with Voith Hydro Inc., a major player in the Canadian hydroelectric energy market. For a second successive year, Voith has placed its trust in J2 to handle purchasing of site consumables for its Ruskin and Rapides-des-Quinze projects.
Through its external outsourcing service, J2 will implement the purchasing strategy, select suppliers, handle operational aspects of the purchasing function, and take care of supplier payment into the bargain. These activities will be carried out from the company’s offices in Longueuil, a suburb of Montréal.
This is an innovative service in Québec, and one that is arousing increasing interest because it offers customers very significant advantages: dealing with a company of proven efficiency whose core business is purchasing, and reducing at a stroke the number of suppliers needing to be managed.
